I earned my Bachelor of Education from Lake Head University. I also graduated from Trent University with honors, earning a degree in indigenous studies.

I am currently working at the Claremont School for Dyslexia as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher and tutor. Before that, I taught K-12 at Mino Pimatiziwin Family Treatment Centre for three years.
